Saif Said Saed Al Riyami is a highly accomplished Senior Specialist Physiotherapist with extensive experience and expertise in the field. He achieved his BSc. with Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from the prestigious Manchester School of Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Department at SQUH (Sultan Qaboos University Hospital) in Oman.

Saif is widely recognized as the main Founder of the Omani Physiotherapy Association, which he established in 2004. He passionately led the association for three consecutive terms, contributing significantly to the development and growth of physiotherapy in Oman.

In addition to his administrative role, Saif is also involved in academia. He lectures medical students in their 5th and 7th years on the orthopedic model physiotherapy approach and management. He is a Member of The Oman Physical Therapy Association Consultant and also holds membership in the Italian Professional Osteopaths Association.

Furthermore, Saif is an International Instructor specializing in fascia mobilization and medical taping concepts. He is a Certified Mulligan Concept Practitioner and Manual Therapist. He proudly represents the Omani Physiotherapy Association on various important occasions within the healthcare community. Saif has attended numerous national and international courses and conferences, constantly expanding his knowledge and skills.

Saif’s areas of expertise encompass various aspects of physiotherapy, such as manual therapy, spinal management, kinesiology taping, musculoskeletal conditions, Mulligan and Maitland techniques, muscle release therapy, trigger point therapy, Kinesio and medical taping, neuromusculoskeletal conditions, electrotherapy, and outpatient-related physiotherapy management.
